City of Domestic Machine

City of Domestic Machine is a series of works exploring mobility and the use of urban public spaces. Originally designed as transportation devices, these machines have been repurposed to allow ordinary citizens to use city public spaces for free. They enable individuals to extend their living "territory" in expensive big cities at minimal cost. Household Machine exaggerates, absurdizes, and humorously expands this urban phenomenon. The work adds a new dimension to the concept of mobility: movement is not for changing locations, but for occupying and utilizing a specific space.
